He is a recipient of many awards and has participated in a number of national and international conferences in India and abroad. He has many scientific publications to his credit and has recently edited and authored a number of books, including \u003cem\u003eFreshwater Microbiology: Perspectives of Bacterial Dynamics in Lake Ecosystems\u003c\/em\u003e; \u003cem\u003eEnvironmental Management: Environmental Issues, Awareness and Abatement\u003c\/em\u003e; and \u003cem\u003eEnvironmental Perspectives and Issues\u003c\/em\u003e. Parray, PhD\u003c\/strong\u003e, is Assistant Professor in the Higher Education Department at Government Degree College Eidgah, Srinagar, India, where he teaches environmental science. He was awarded an Emerging Scientist of the Year Award from the Indian Academy of Environmental Science in 2015.
